In a little over a week our nation will decide who will be the next president of the United States. It goes without saying that this election has raised emotions to a new height. Friends have become enemies; politicians continue to seek the basest of actions while desiring the highest of offices. Add in a pandemic and racial tensions and whoever leads us next will have their work cut out.

That’s what I am reading on everyone’s social media posts lately. Sadly, it’s not just people who aren’t Christians but Christians responding to each other like that!

The last two days I have been reading through Romans 14 and 15. Think you’re a mature Christian? Think you have rights that no one else should tread on? I get it. We’re Americans and are strongly independent minded.

I don’t get it. We’re Christians and supposed to treat each other with love and respect.
